Do you have an RSS feed for your site? I have searched everywhere but don’t see one, but I am on my iPad… Am I just missing it? I prefer to follow favorite sites using RSS.

    Thanks for your help,
p.s. I found your site because someone just shared ne of your posts on Tumblr

I would love to print your recipe for Strawberries & Cream Pie, do you have a print button or a link that I need to click on to get it in a print format?
I tried to copy & paste to a word doc but it didn’t work. There were lots of spaces that I couldn’t correct.
If not, could you possibly email it to me?
    Thank you so much!!!

Last night I made General Tso’s Chicken! My husband said it was the BEST I have made! And it got a “oo la la” that is ALOT coming from my husband. Thank you so much. I am so glad that I found you on Foodgawker and gawked your recipie. I can say it is the best General Tso’s Chicken recipie on there. I have made another and it did not turn out like yours. I think I added a little too much of the hot sauce (I like it) but it was great. I can not wait to look at more of your recipies. I love to cook and my husband loves to eat. I think it made my husbands night after a long day at work and a broken hand. Makes me want to get back to writing my blog so I can tell everyone. I am already in love with your blog and I only had time to read the recipie and a little bit in your Photo Tips.

Thank you! Your comment just made my day :) I’m so glad that the General Tso’s chicken turned out so well for you, and that your husband liked it! There’s really nothing like a good meal to make a bad day better. I hope your husband’s hand gets better soon, and let me know if you try any of my other recipes!

PS – You should start blogging again! :)

I am trying to get recipies together to make it easy to menu plan. I would love to add your General Tso Chicken to my recipie colection but copy and paste really does something strange. Can you send it to me by word?

  10. Jeanette says:

I enjoy your recipes, strawberries & cream pie.. quite the tasty treat! But, my comment is regarding the name of your site. Have you researched the meaning of the word putz? If you haven’t you may be in for a big surprise. The actual word should be futz. Futzing is just playing around..

    Thanks. Jeanette

    • justputzing says:

Haha, thanks for your comment. I did actually research the word “putz” before I chose it as my blog name. I know strictly speaking it has kind of a gross meaning, but when used in slang “putzing” also means “to behave in an idle manner; putter.” And, that is exactly what I do in the kitchen :) Futz would have been a great word too!

I really like your site and am wondering how you like being a part of the BlogHer Food Network. Monthly return? I’d love the opportunity to know more about what you’re up to. Thanks so much! You can reach me privately at the above email.

Hi! I am a nurse and have made your awesome cupcakes before. Only concern now is the beer and want to make them for work at the hospital. Alcohol content in the cupcakes?
    I am just nervous. Thanks.

    • justputzing says:

I’m glad you liked my cupcakes! I don’t think you need to worry about the alcohol content though — the alcohol from the beer burns off during the cooking process, and all you really get left with is a slight Guinness-y flavor. Good luck!

  13. Ruberta says:

Can you add me to your feed deliveries? :-)

    • justputzing says:

Hi Ruberta! Thanks for reading :) Unfortunately my blog doesn’t have a feed delivery list that I can add you to. However, if you click the “RSS Feed” button on the upper right side of the blog screen, you can subscribe to my feed and view any updates from me via whichever system you prefer (Google Reader, etc). Hope that helps!

hey….i really want to make the beer batter maple bacon spring break cupcakes but is the oven temperature in celsius or fahrenheit. i just thought that 350 was a bit high for muffins. could you plz tell me the temperature in celsius. thnks.

    • justputzing says:

Thanks for your comment! The recipe is in fahrenheit. So, 350F would be about 176.7 degrees celsius. Hope that helps!

  15. Greetings from Idaho!

We are always looking for innovative recipes using mashed potatoes and were thrilled to find your recipe for Loaded Mashed Potato Cakes. We have it pinned on our Pinterest page and were wondering if we could have your permission to use the recipe and photo on our web site and Facebook page. We will, of course, give credit where credit is due and will link back out to your blog too.

And, if you have any other recipes that use mashed, hash browns or potato slices, we’d love to know about those too.

Thanks so much for your consideration,
