Blazin' Bulleit

Yields: 1 cocktail
- 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice Screw Driver
- 3 oz Bulleit bourbon
- 2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz peach simple syrup (see recipe below)
- Ice
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- Combine sugar and water in pot and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced peaches and stir well.
- Continue stirring until sugar mixture is clear.
- Crush peaches when soft to release more flavor into the syrup.
- Turn stove off and allow peaches to steep in your syrup for 15-20 minutes
- Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
- Strain peaches from the syrup.
- Pour syrup into a bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Pour bourbon, lemon juice, and peach simple syrup into your shaker, and shake well.
- Strain mixture into a tall glass over fresh ice.
- Top off with half your Smirnoff ice
